1. Interpretation & Definitions
“Company” / “We” / “Us” refers to LR Retrofit.
“Client” / “User” refers to any person or organization utilizing LR Retrofit’s services or website.
“Services” refers to any diagnostic, coding, software access, delivery, or support provided.
“Device” means any tool, diagnostic interface, laptop, or electronic hardware used in operations.
All terms refer to the offer, acceptance, and consideration of payment necessary to undertake our services via remote assistance, in-person support, or third-party tools.
2. Scope of Services
LR Retrofit offers:
- Remote vehicle diagnostics & ECU programming
- Pathfinder and SDD-based session work
- Retrofit advisory & installation support
- Global delivery of modules and software kits
- Configuration guidance for Jaguar and Land Rover models
These services are made available to clients worldwide but governed under UK law, regardless of the client’s location.
We reserve the right to refuse service if:
- VIN information is incomplete or falsified
- We detect unsafe or cloned hardware
- The intended modification violates manufacturer safety protocols
For example, enabling adaptive cruise control without installing correct radar modules violates service integrity.
3. Orders, Payments & Refunds
All payments must be cleared in full before:
- Remote sessions begin
- Devices or hardware are dispatched
- Login access is shared for online tools
Accepted Payment Methods:
- Stripe
- PayPal
- Direct Bank Transfer (UK + SEPA)
- Apple Pay / Google Pay (on request)
3.1 Refunds
You are eligible for a refund if:
- We are unable to deliver the promised service within 5 business days
- Fleet or VIN coding attempts fail due to an error on our side
- You cancel an order before shipping or software execution
Refunds will not be offered if:
- Client provides incorrect VIN
- Hardware is misused or bricked during usage outside the terms
- A module has been coded using unofficial (clone) tools prior to our session
- A third-party already attempted modifications
All eligible refunds will be processed within 10 working days upon verification.
4. Licensing, Availability & Login Use
Remote diagnostic sessions for Pathfinder, SDD, JET Pro, or TOPIx are time-bound and per-session licensed.
- Client does NOT gain perpetual or offline access to any backend tools provided during a session.
- Login access for premium bundles is temporary and single-use only unless stated otherwise.
For hardware kits purchased:
- Device warranties last 12 months, subject to validation
- Misuse or third-party software installation will void warranty
5. Confidentiality & Data Security
We care about your privacy. VINs, part numbers, and configuration files shared with LR Retrofit are:
- Stored securely for historical record
- Not shared or published via third parties
- Backed up if you request recovery of CCF/ECU logs
For site use, visitor data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Remote sessions via TeamViewer or Anydesk are encrypted using 256-bit AES standards and are run only with your permission.
We’re committed to GDPR compliance as outlined in the UK GDPR Framework.
6. Hardware Risks Disclaimer
By accepting our services, you acknowledge that:
- Remote ECU flashing carries inherent risk if interrupted (low battery, Wi-Fi lost)
- Used modules cannot always be overwritten due to internal lock flags
- LR Retrofit uses only official toolsets but cannot be held liable if the original vehicle firmware is internally corrupt
We will always offer recovery steps, backups, or part replacement quotes where needed.
7. Scheduling & Cancellations
Remote sessions or troubleshooting calls must be booked in advance.
- We’ll reschedule free of charge if notified at least 8 hours in advance
- Missed appointments without notice may incur a £25 reschedule fee
- Flashed hardware sessions will be delayed if client delays setup, internet, or fail to respond
We operate Monday–Saturday, 08:00–21:00 GMT worldwide, with regional calendar adjustments during Ramadan, public holidays, and local British Bank Holidays.
8. External Website Links
Our website may include relevant informational or support links to third-party resources.
While we aim to only link verified material, we are not responsible for:
- External website content
- Privacy policies
- Broken or outdated downloads on external sites
We recommend verifying all downloads or instructions independently with factory databases (TOPIx, etc.)
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LR Retrofit will not be liable for:
- Vehicle damage due to customer misuse during installation
- Software conflicts from cloned tools or pirate software
- Internet disconnections during remote flash sessions
- Incorrect part orders when VIN/region data was wrongly submitted by client
Our liability is limited to the value of the service or product purchased from us.
10. Indemnification
By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold LR Retrofit and its employees harmless from any:
- Third-party claims
- Disputes arising from modules incorrectly provided by external sellers
- Consequential damage caused by modified vehicle configurations overall
11. Prohibited Uses
By accessing our website or services, you agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or share proprietary files
- Use cracked diagnostic tools using LR Retrofit session data
- Post or upload illegal, abusive, or fraudulent configuration files
- Impersonate LR Retrofit or its representatives online
Violation of these points may result in account suspension and reported abuse cases under UK cyber conduct laws.
12. Modifications to Terms
These terms may be updated at any time without notice.
