Important Setup Requirements
Programming ECUs is a voltage-critical process. A voltage drop during a flash session can permanently corrupt the module (bricking it). We strongly recommend using a stabilized battery maintainer or power supply (13.8V @ 20A+) connected to the vehicle’s battery during all programming sessions. The laptop must have a stable connection to the VCI—use the Ethernet cable in the kit for the most reliable data path.
