What This Activation Includes
Most Land Rover and Jaguar vehicles leave the factory with video playback restricted to a stationary vehicle. The Infotainment Master Controller blocks video from the front display as soon as the vehicle moves. We correct this restriction at the software level. Technical Detail
The Video in Motion restriction lives in the Infotainment Master Controller and the Front Media Interface Module. These modules communicate over the JLR MOST and CAN networks. We decode the current video lock parameters and replace them with the correct activation values for your vehicle. This method keeps the original JLR software architecture fully intact and avoids generic coding tools that can trigger security faults.
We programme the Infotainment Master Controller first, then synchronise the Front Media Interface Module with the updated video settings. This two-step process ensures the front display, rear seat entertainment and USB media ports all operate with the same configuration.
