How the Blind Spot Monitoring System Works
When the system detects a vehicle entering the monitored zone on either side of your Land Rover, it illuminates a bright, amber warning icon in the corresponding exterior mirror glass. The icon appears without distracting the driver and remains visible even in direct sunlight. If you indicate to change lanes while a vehicle occupies the blind spot, the icon flashes rapidly to provide an additional visual alert. The system activates automatically above 10 mph and continues to monitor both sides of the vehicle regardless of traffic density or weather conditions.
