You operate the system through the driver door switch panel. The memory buttons store up to three complete seat and mirror profiles. Each profile restores the exact seat cushion, backrest, lumbar, and mirror positions with a single press. The system also supports automatic seat movement for easy entry and exit where the platform allows.

How the Seats Memory System Works
The memory system continuously monitors the position sensors on the seat motors, door mirrors, and steering column. When you adjust the seat or mirrors manually, the module records the exact positions in real time. Pressing and holding a memory button stores the current positions. Pressing the same button briefly recalls that profile, moving the seat, mirrors, and steering column to the saved settings.
Each memory profile remains stored even after the ignition switches off. The vehicle recognises the system as original equipment through the comfort and convenience network. The driver information screen displays memory status where the platform supports it, and the system integrates fully with the existing electric seat controls.

Installation and Programming
LR-Retrofit technicians complete the installation at our workshop. We remove the seat trims, fit the position sensors and memory module, and install the door switch pack. We route the wiring harnesses through the original seat and door conduits. After installation, we update the comfort module configuration using JLR diagnostic equipment and calibrate the memory positions. We then run full recall and anti-trap tests to verify correct operation.
