JLR controls this feature with the Ambient Lighting Module (ALM). The ALM drives multiple RGB LED modules through a LIN bus. Each zone supports independent colour and dimming commands. When you select a colour on the touchscreen, the ALM sends the correct PWM signals to every LED module. The system stores your preference in the vehicle profile. You can change the cabin mood at any time without additional hardware.
