JLR Technical Process

1. We read your vehicle’s Car Configuration File through the JLR DoIP diagnostic interface.

Technical Detail

Traffic Sign Recognition works with the forward-facing camera and the Image Processing Module. The camera identifies speed limit signs, variable message signs and no-overtaking indicators. The Image Processing Module then sends the recognised sign to the instrument cluster for display. Driver Drowsy Monitor uses a separate algorithm that monitors steering angle, throttle input and journey duration. It detects patterns that indicate reduced alertness and triggers a coffee-break recommendation.

We decode the Car Configuration File and activate both feature sets in one diagnostic session.
