Terrain Response 2 AUTO removes the need to manually select terrain modes. The vehicle continuously reads data from steering, throttle, suspension and wheel-speed sensors. It then chooses the best terrain setting in real time. ATPC works like low-speed cruise control for challenging terrain. You set a desired speed between 1.8 km/h and 30 km/h. The system manages throttle and braking to keep steady progress. Both features combine to deliver confident control on mud, sand, snow, rocks and wet grass.

This retrofit suits selected Land Rover models with the necessary hardware. Typical vehicles include Range Rover L405, Range Rover Sport L494 and Discovery 5 L462 with Terrain Response 2. We verify your VIN and current module configuration before booking. Our specialists confirm that your vehicle has the correct ABS module, transfer case control module and central touchscreen. If your vehicle needs additional hardware, we source and fit the correct genuine parts.

Technical Process

Our JLR-trained technicians perform the activation. They connect the vehicle to JLR-approved diagnostic equipment. They read the current Car Configuration File (CCF). Our team then updates the CCF with the correct market and feature codes for Terrain Response 2 AUTO and ATPC. They load the latest calibration files to the All-Terrain Control Module. After programming, they run a full system verification and clear all fault codes. You receive a completed installation report for your records.

What You Receive

Your retrofit package includes activation of both Terrain Response 2 AUTO and ATPC. We also provide a full diagnostic health check before and after the process.
